Kim Farington

 

Kim Farington is a Certified Public Accountant, inventor, entrepreneur, and veteran public servant whose 33-year career in federal government leadership focused on financial reform, accountability, and innovation. During her service with agencies including the Department of War, the United States Department of Agriculture, the Office of Personnel Management, and the The White House, she helped lead major reforms that saved taxpayers more than one billion dollars. Following her retirement as Chief Financial Officer of the First Responder Network Authority, where she managed a $100 billion budget, Farington founded KTech, a company specializing in financial management, cybersecurity, and human capital solutions. A holder of three patents, she also serves in advisory and leadership roles in education and cybersecurity while remaining committed to applying her extensive experience in government, business, and technology to improve the lives of Virginians.

Bert Mizusawa


 

Bert Mizusawa is a retired Major General in the United States Army whose distinguished career has spanned more than four decades in military command, national security, federal leadership, and law. A graduate of the United States Military Academy with advanced degrees from Harvard Law School and the Harvard Kennedy School, he has served at the highest levels of government, including as Deputy Under Secretary of the Army and Senior Advisor to the Director of the Central Intelligence Agency. Mizusawa also commanded a Combined Joint Interagency Task Force in Afghanistan focused on combating corruption, narcotics trafficking, terrorist financing, and illicit networks, while earlier contributing to major defense oversight efforts for the Senate Armed Services Committee. Following his public service, he founded successful private enterprises in federal contracting and legal practice, building a reputation for principled leadership, strategic judgment, and lifelong commitment to service

David Williams


 

David Williams is a lifelong Republican and American leader who has built a career across military service, diplomacy, and national security, shaped by early life in a faith-driven, middle-class family with strong ties to public service. After moving from New Jersey to California and later Georgia, where he attended high school in Decatur, he went on to earn a competitive ROTC scholarship to Morehouse College before serving as an infantry officer in the United States Marine Corps, including two combat deployments to Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom. His career later expanded into diplomacy with the United States Department of State and intelligence work with the Central Intelligence Agency, where he served in senior operational roles while continuing his service as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Marine Corps Reserve. Now residing in Reston, Virginia with his wife and children, Williams presents himself as a candidate shaped by frontline experience and guided by conservative principles of limited government, strong national defense, and service to country.
